How to get to VIATEC 2012
The international congress centre and the Innsbruck exhibition centre are distinguished by their unmistakeable location in the heart of the Alps, in the immediate vicinity of the fully intact Innsbruck Gothic Old Town on the banks of the River Inn. Congress and trade-fair visitors are again and again delighted by the magnificent alpine setting of Innsbruck, twice an Olympic city, a centre for tourism, university life and sport.
Arrival by road
Our system of directions leads you simply and directly to the trade fair complex (Messegelände).
Please notice: There are only few parking possibilties around the Innsbruck exhibition centre. The parking places in Innsbruck are liable to pay costs and time-limited. The maximum duration of parking is 3 hours. Depending on the parking zone, it costs € 2,- for 1 1/2 hours parking and € 3,- for 3 hours parking. You can also park your car at the visitor-carpark Freigelände Nord.
Close to the Highway Exit „Innsbruck Mitte“ there are two possibilities to park you car: 6,40 Euro per day have to be paid at the Olympia Arena parking area west, at the garage of Tivoli it is € 8,- per day to pay. A Shuttle Service free of charge leading from the Innsbruck Olympia Arena to the Innsbruck Exhibition Centre will serve the guests arriving by car.
Arrival by rail
The favourable location of Innsbruck (north-south axis) also makes easy arrival possible. Innsbruck has excellent Intercity and Eurocity connections from the cities of Zurich, Vienna, Munich and Bolzano.
Arrival by air
Austrian Airlines is Interalpin’s Official Carrier. At Innsbruck Airport there will be an Interalpin Info Counter including a VIP Shuttle Service from Porsche Austria.
